G Music: News

Sy Scott lives..but not at ROWDY RECORDS - March 4, 2009

Hip Hop is not dead, it only moved to South.
Philly native Sy Scott started his career rapping with Eric Sermon's Def Squad. He later was signed to hip hop label Rowdy Records. An East Coast rapper created and completed an outstanding album in the South! After waiting 3 plus years for his music to be heard, Rowdy Records never released it. Rowdy Records reconstructed and fired the mostly black staff. Announcing that Sy was about to be released (See sandrarose.com post) http://sandrarose.com/2008/05/06/dallas-austin-clears-up-rumors-that-hes-broke/ Word of advice, "Beware of the smoking mirrors"
Sy has rapped many battle raps and NEVER lost. Sy Scott prevails on G Music!!. Look out for his new album soon.
Listen for him on Drew Hill's Platinum House by Keith Sweat
